In September 2012, world-renowned Slovenian conductor Marko Letonja was appointed director of the Strasbourg Philharmonic. For the occasion Candid & Young wrote and directed a documentary entitled “Un grand chef à Strasbourg” on the international career (Basel, Vienna) of the former pianist who has become one of the greatest figures of classical music. The film was shown to several hundred guests at Letonja’s inaugural press conference as director of the Strasbourg Philharmonic and later made available on the Orchestra’s website.
